A crispy caramelized side dish, maple roasted brussels sprouts are very easy to make and perfect for weeknight dinners and gatherings.
What to have with Maple Roasted Brussels Sprouts?
These brussels sprouts are a great addition to any dish! They make a great side dish for Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners, but they are so quick and easy to make, we usually have them during weeknight dinners. We usually have them with roasted chicken and risotto. They also taste amazing with grilled salmon and mashed potatoes.
How to Make Maple Roasted Brussels Sprouts?
Making roasted brussels sprouts is simple! You essentially throw the cut sprouts on a sheet pan, drizzle oil and syrup, then roast for 20 minutes.
You could toss the sprouts, oil and syrup in a bowl before throwing on the pan to ensure all parts of the sprouts are evenly covered with the oil and syrup. However, I do like the crispness of the pieces that aren’t covered after it is done from the oven.
How to Pick Brussels Sprouts?
When picking brussels sprouts from the grocery store, the sprouts should feel firm and the leaves tightly layered together. Smaller brussels sprouts tend to be sweeter than larger ones.
How to Store Maple Roasted Brussels Sprouts?
Leftover roasted sprouts can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
